Our organization “Defend the Environment” and the Environmental Protection Authority of FDRE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) identifying the tasks and responsibilities that can be done in cooperation.

Defend the Environment successfully co-organized a capacity building training workshop on Environmental Rights and Public Interest litigation with Eco-Justice Ethiopia on 4 November 2023.

Defend the Environment in collaboration with Lawyers for Human Rights (LHR) organized a workshop on 19 March 2022 concerning “the Implications of the Recognition of a Right to Safe, Clean, Healthy and Sustainable Environment as Human Rights”
