Our organization “Defend the Environment” and the Environmental Protection Authority of FDRE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) identifying the tasks and responsibilities that can be done in cooperation.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Melkamu Ogo, the founder and board chairman, representing our organization, and Dr. Getahun Garedew, Director General of the organization representing the Authority, signed the MOU in the presence of various officials and stakeholders.
This partnership should be recognized and encouraged as it contributes to our Organization in facilitating the relationship between CSOs and governmental institutions.
Defend the Environment sincerely thank the Director General of the Authority, Dr. Getahun Garedewu and other colleagues, who made the cooperative relationship a reality in such a way that the service can continue to be strengthened by recognizing the activities that our organization has started to protect the public interest related to the environment.
